Hey applegirl, where abouts are you (in wellington I pressume), its good to get a map of NZ ishers

Is there something wrong with that link cos it doesn't want to open - or at least it is taking so long it's up to 5 green blobs on the waiting for it to load thingy. I've stopped it now, So what is on the link then please? The Website or the Bible?

I used to look at this forum a lot when we lived in Scotland living a much more rural life in a wood with chickens and growing our own food etc. We have since moved to Wellington at the start of this year. My self-sufficient aspirations here have been limited to limes, lemons and herbs but now that spring is arriving I am starting to grow a few vegetables. Bit difficult in a garden which is mostly vertical but we have a fair bit of space and the added advantage of no frost or snow. And an ocean at the doorstep, but I will leave the fishing to the OH.

Sounds interesting - especially the no frost bit!
