Who's an Essex Isher?

I was wondering how I might go about finding who's on an 'ish' tip in my area. I'm in Writtle in Chelmsford, I was thinking for seed swapping and help on big building projects etc, people could get together.
Also just thought it might be nice to meet some of the like minded welly wearing folk.
If you're around and or about, just give me a shout.
I'm hopefully setting up a wild food walk group in the area too, so let me know if you would be interested

Fran- I'm not amazing with mushrooms to be honest, but this is the aim of the walks, to get as many people on board sharing their knowledge and love of wild food.
I should be posting details soon, trying to get out to do photos for posters- but its Essex monsoon season apparently so I haven't been able to

the one on rectory road which always has a crapload of cars outside and building supplies etc. kinda looks like a bunch of pikies have taken root there..... lol!
