I'm as pleased as the next man when someone is happy, but am I the only person struggling to give a stuff about this? I've told the girls to hassle their grandmother (a staunch republican) if they want a royal wedding mug, but thus far that is the only pleasure I've been able to garner from the whole business.

Oh please don't bring that here!!! I had a basinful watching all the cheesiness last night and the discussions on the Brittany forums! I've had quite enough now thank you!

Anyway he's Wills not Bill.

I do love the Queen but the younger generation of royals don't do it for me.

I have removed the offending link.
Isn't it tradition that her dad has to fork out the readies for the bash? I bet he's just delighted about that!

Not only will we have to pay for it, but it will be rammed down our throats for the next 12 months, 6 months before and 6 months after.

Perhaps we should organise a whip-round? After all, as Cameron says, we're all in this together.....

Sorry - I didn't mean it was offensive, it isn't.

Just that as this news is EVERYWHERE whether you like it or not, it's hardly difficult to google if you want to read about it and I imagine anyone who's looked at an online newspaper/facebook/forums this morning will have noticed as it's difficult not to.

Are they? I didn't see that reported anywhere? Is she related to Diana as I don't imagine a commoner would have much in common with a royal as far as their lineage goes.
