Haven't time to watch a video but it's illegal to feed your chickens scraps!

It would also make it illegal to gather, clean and own seeds

I would hope that even the politicians are not that stupid in the UK,
"Hmm I don't know"

I can't imagine a better example of what civil resistance could do to a stupid law.
Wouldn't last five minutes.

I'm in favour,....................imagine the scene as 50,000 masked pipe smoking allotment holders led by that well known anarchist, known only by the alias'Toby Buckland', clash with the Metropolitan police and respond to baton charges with a fusilade of homegrown veg.......what fun!

These things are happening here already - but by stealth, a little bit at a time, a regulation here a regulation there, always in the interest of the big food manufacturers never the small producers.

Yup the yobs in the 'burbs who've never grown a veg in their life would be burning cars whilst the country types would just quietly ignore the laws and get on with life as per usual.

Hmmm.... Colour me sceptical, and don't believe everything you see on YouTube. According to the last bloke I talked to about this sort of thing, the government was supposed to be sending the troops in to clear everyone off their allotments sometime the year before last. Surprisingly enough, it never happened.
Also, the world is not going to end in 2012, and our governments are not actually run by reptiloid aliens from Eta Draconis. (Well, probably not...)
There are a lot of deeply disturbed individuals out there, and most of them seem to have YouTube accounts. These days, I regard "YouTube video" as a marginally less reliable source than "spittle-flecked naked man yelling on a street corner, smeared in his own excrement".
Besides, I do some stuff that's illegal already...

Dear Gregorach,
I thought one of the synonyms for politician was reptile? (Even though this does seem a little unfair to reptillian life forms ....)

The people vote for the reptiles and the reptiles rule the people. ...[people vote]... because the wrong reptile might get in!
That aside, nah... nah, don't see that happening. Or being enforced if it did.

I'm with Gregorach on this one. I've seen all kinds of claims about what's supposedly in S510, many of them contradictory. Anybody can claim anything about any bill, because almost nobody has the patience to actually sit down and read the d^$# things.
I have this policy about not discussing a piece of legislation unless both I and the other person/people discussing it have all read it firsthand, and I just haven't had time to sort through the legalese yet.
