I reckon I must be. I was in the greenhouse today and I was looking through the tub that I keep seeds in and when I found some I could plant in february my heart skipped a beat and the compost bag came out....

I actually put loads of seeds in 3 weeks ago, and some 2 weeks ago. a bit early for some admittedly. but an experiment.
a bit warmer Here admittedly, and a small "walled " garden. so maybe , maybe nou...........

I can always redo them a bit later on.. I will anyway, even if they do come through, as not much space, so trying for 2 lots hopefullysO now......

WWell now. I´m just feverish with excitement . waiting to see if anything is germinating!

2 different lots of radishes, some lettuce, chamomile, and strawberries , have popped up so far

Glad it is not just me - I haven't told anyone that I started sowing, incase I get told off because it is so early!

But I have already sown tomatoes - have justified this to myself on the basis that last year, they didn't ripen until September/October in the polytunnel, so need to get a headstart this year - same for peppers and aubergines.

Basil you can sow anytime right? So I stuck some of that in. Also put in some Delphs and foxgloves, both of which you are supposed to get flowers this year from an early sowing - so it is justified.

Just couldn't wait - and last night came home from work to check the propagator to find..... seedlings!!! :flower: It gets me with a lump in my throat every single year...I hope it always does.

We're in the middle of storms at the mo, so am hiding out - will go and rescue my garden when someone turns the weather volume down and things dry out a bit

  I've stopped going straight to the kettle first thing in the morning and go straight to my seed trays instead to see how they've grown overnight. Some a bit experimentally early because I couldn't wait

Given the weather (and the forecast) I got all enthusiatic, set up cloches, and now have carrots, lettuce, onions & garlic in the ground.

jings crivens - and I thought I was doing well pulling out my sprout plants today - just finished eating them last week. And I'm still pulling leeks and PSB from last year, dug up the rest of my parsnips too - haven't thought about putting anything in - although i did release a couple of thugs today into their own raised bed - horseradish and jerusalem artichokes - they can fight it out having been stuck in pots till now
