slightly green chitted potatoes

I left my tubers (Maris Piper) in a light spot but not in direct sunlight. When they had chitted I noticed some of them had a very pale tinge of green on the skin. I planted them anyway but am now informed my whole crop will be poisonous.
Would be grateful for any thoughts.

As far as I'm aware it should be fine. All pots have the poison in anyway and you aren't going to be eating the green one. Would be interested as to what others say, but I'm sure I've had crops from potatoes that were slightly green before.

Somebody's having you on. Your entire crop will be absolutely normal. Greening is a natural action of light on potatoes, and it would be difficult to avoid when chitting (you want green shoots, don't you?).
Don't worry in the slightest.

Well, whoever told you that hasn't the least clue what they're talking about. Something to remember for future reference...
