cherry brandy
cherry whisky
cherry vodka
cherry squash that very yummy
cherry jam
cherry jelly
spiced cherry compote
now have very red hands

dehydrate them like cranberries, stone and freeze to make pies, clafoutis, ice cream...

2 years ago I bought a little cherry tree.
Last year, there were 4 cherries on it (bless!) I stood with my eldest & youngest daughters & the granddaughter & we all had one each.....
This year, I was chuffed to see 40ish little fruits on it - oh, it's going to be lovely in another few years.... except if you've never seen a large lamb practically climb a tree then pop one in a field & stand back and watch the fun.... we now have NO little fruits ripening, but have serious plans to pop an extension on our veggy patch fence to include said tree for next year

Eat the lamb, Julie - problem solved.
It would be perfect if you had it with a cherry sauce.

We have a cherry, planted to comemorate my youngest (Charlotte)'s birth. It (& she, obviously) is 19...this year we managed to pick 1 cherry before the birds...& we gave it to her.
T'is the
ONLY cherry we've ever had from the tree!
We have 'Anak Charlotte Cherry' trees moving to Ireland with us, so the birds obviously left the stones!
(Anak is Philopeno for 'child of' as in Anak Krakatoa...Charlotte is our proto vulcanologist)
