Wow - how many did you make? Are they very time consuming as I was thinking of giving it ago? What did you hold them together with? I was wondering if I staples would be a good idea or not.

I've got one of those wooden things that you wind the paper round to make little pots, make dozens of the things every year and they work really well. Sow all my chillies, peppers, aubergines, tomatoes and tomatillos in them which can then be potted on into 3" pots without any disturbance. They work brilliantly and although I think they're often a bit expensive for what they are I've been using mine for about 6 years and it will last forever.

I did try this one year but to make enough for all my allotment starter seedlings would be a full time job. Back to thrown out cup from work, plastic throw aways etc :)
