cheap alternative to purple spray?

I just collected 8 ex-bats to go with my existing flock of 7 and one poor girl has been peaked so blood is drawn.I have no purple spray but wondered if there is a temporary alternative till I can get to the. Shops.hope you can help.thanks Clare

Cornflour - will stop it bleeding but not antiseptic.
Tea tree
Dettol !
What have you got? and we can help you decide if its suitable!

Hi there,I have got dettol and cornflour and teatree,so thought to spray diluted dettol onto wound and then dust with cornflour?She is not as bad today with natural healing so will treat her then hope they leave her alone.i know they are only esatblishing the pecking order and she is clearly at the bottom but I must leave her with them as she will still be bullied,I have never had one this bullied before and have had chickens for 4 years!!

Hopefully the other hen will be put off by the taste of Dettol!!
