Place I used to buy my seeds from has closed down, I have everything but.....
Dont know the name of the ones I used to buy, ok should have made notes. They were by T&M, brown skin, not silver and said on the front of the packet, 'ideal for pickling'.
Have looked on the website and search engines and have no idea as to what I used to buy. Used them for the past 3 years with fantastic results. Nearest thing I can find is Suttons sy 300, but these appear to have 'sold out'.
Silverskin just dont have the same crunch/taste.
Any suggestions?

Re: pickled onion seeds
Marshalls have a brown skinned pickling onion seed called giant zittau and Thompson & Morgan have a dual purpose red called Onion 'Rouge Long De Florence' - Heritage variety pulled young for spring onions or left to mature.
