Hello from Wiscosnin

Post: # 260738Post Anahrah »

Hello all,
I stumbled across this Web site while looking at foraging Web sites and I've enjoyed reading some of your posts and comments. This morning I noticed that It's supposed to be beautiful this weekend here and I can't wait to get out in the woods! I don't know anyone else in the Milwaukee area that is interested in foraging, so if you're in my neck of the woods, I'd love to chat!

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Another cheese-head! Woohoo!!

I'm over toward the Dane/Green County area and don't get over to Milwaukee if I can help it, cities give me the creeps. Still, nice to meet you. Welcome to Ish!

Thanks for the welcome all!

Ellendra, I get out your way on occasion. It's not far, and I've got friends in Madison. I certainly understand not wanting to visit MKE much when you live where you do! It's beautiful out that way!

How's the foraging over there? It's a bit difficult here in the city. I'm not used to that. I grew up a country girl. I'm used to being able to eat whatever I pick and not having to worry about pesticides, chemicals from streets, and possibly breaking the law if I'm one step into the park system.
