How should I put a potted honeysuckly into the ground. As it was in the pot, deeper or higher?

Roughly the same level, perhaps an inch deeper then mulch. It's generally Clematis that you bury a bit.As a rule honeysuckle is the easier to grow against a wall as ,generally,it's tougher, and although it will like it's roots shaded(bits of old paving slab or similar) it's not essential as it is with the Clematis.Usual routine, hole at least twice the volume of the pot, ditch any subsoil and add decent bit of compost, water well,on a reg basis even this mid-year period.(We don't use the S word here,it doesn't seem to apply!!).......hope it takes well bws.

Thanks. I want to give it the best start possible especially as it was reduced to £2, so you can imagine it wasn't in the best condition possible!
