I had a lovely day - massage, pressies, then dinner at a lovely local restaurant. They even made me a birthday cake (very yummy and chocolatey and vegan so my gal could share it).

I'm off now for a week's hols. See you when I get back.

We had a fabulous time, thanks Tony. Very mild, mainly sunny weather all week. The view from cottage was amazing, we were about 50yds from the sea, where the river Brora runs into it. Strangely the river seemed to be running backwards most of the week.

Lots of walks, drives and shopping - we've come back with quite a few bottles of Christmas cheer (gin or whisky flavoured).
