Help identifying this weed

Hi there.

This weed is pretty prolific in my garden in the spring and summer, so I've chosen now, when I can't see the flowers, to try to identify it.

I think it looks a bit like five leaflet bittercress, but I'm not entirely sure. Any better ideas anyone?
5 leaflet bittercress?

Looks like Cinquefoil, I have loads of it here, although not really what I'd call a "weed"

Thanks Odsox.
I see what you mean. I'll keep an eye on it until it flowers before I decide what to do with it then, :)

Again I've learned something new. I was going to say it looks like a potentilla - they all have those strawberry like leaves. Turns out cinquefoil is a potentilla.

It doesn't seem to be eaten but apparently has anti-inflammatory and anti-diarrhoea properties when taken as a tea. Might be worth hanging on to a small clump.
