Looks like my email address has been cloned just got 10 000 emails from undelivered. This happened once before only not as many, how can I stop it? I have kept all the returned mails in a folder to incase I need proof to show anyone. Why oh why are there no anti spamming laws!

Because on the Internet, not only does no one know if you're a dog but it is also common for people to act from places outside your country's jurisdiction.

I wonder if anyone has written a sci-fi novel on the subject of spam yet (I can vaguely recollect some possible contenders but nothing I've read recently enough to name).

open one of the original e-mails (the ones which are being bounced) and view the headers on the e-mail - how you do that depends on what you use to access your e-mail but normally it'll say in the help area or you could phone your ISP and ask them to help you.

Once you have the headers (which is a list of data including the actual sending server, the IP address etc) send them to your ISP helpdesk explaining whats happened - that info gives them what they need to complain to the ISP of the people who are actually sending the mail and spoofing your address, and hopefully they'll stop it and delete the account.

The undelivered e-mail will land in your account for the next four days or so after they stop sending, there's nothing anyone can do about that :(

There are laws against it but .......
