hi guys
anyone know anything about turkeys? my wee boy was practicing 'ole macdonald had a farm' the other day and said we've got everything except cows an turkeys dad. i told him we were definately not getting a cow but it did get me thinking about a turkey for christmas! and what happens to all the turkey eggs? i mean you hear of hens eggs, duck eggs, even osterich eggs but i,ve never seen a recipie wth a turkey egg in it!

The only thing I know about turkeys is that you shouldn't keep them with or near chickens because they are susceptible to some disease - sorry but I can't remember any more than that! Perhaps some Google research?

Black Head, thats the condition you mean I think, I read about it some where. Have to admit I don't like Turkeys, but then I didn't like geese and we have a goose now.

Seem to remeber Turkeys only have a short laying period, but could be wrong.
