seasonal dip in webstats

Anyone else who owns a website noticed a slight dip in their hit rate? I am guessing that e-commerce sites are doing well and info/forum sites such as this not so well. Since the rush of christmas shopping started in full force our hits have taken a bit of a dip. Or is it because of our unreliable server?

you might find that its more to do with people either finishing work for the holidays or in a big rush cos they have just noticed how little time is left - not spending time on forums when they are working
who knows

Yeah Andy
Same with Neeps! I imagine it's the same for most people, unless you are running a christmas forum I suppose....

No, it's not just you Andy. Hardly anyone has looked at any of the sites which I host over the last week. I've noticed the same with a number of other forums which I frequent; very few people online and few postings.
