Repotting citrus trees

Hi Guys
I have two oranges and two lemons. They are still quite small and are all currently in pots ranging from 6 to 8 inches dia indoors.

They need to be repotted. I gather you can only pot them up one size each time.

The problem I have is that they are always either in flower or in fruit (or both). Is it safe to repot them or do I really need to wait until they are dormant? (Which could be forever at this rate!)

Cheers

if you are carefull not to dammage the root ball then i see no reason not to do it now. water well afterwards.
Also, consider removing almost all of the flowers/fruit when you do it in order to reduce the stress on the plant. after 2-3 days qive it a WEAK liquid feed to help it recover, not strong - that might burn any broken roots.
Good luck!

Thanks for that. One of my projects to do while I'm off work.
