Picked them up today! Two cream legbars, one with a tufted head.
Slipped them in with the others after they had gone to roost - all quiet so far......
OH can't understand why I 'wasted' money buying fancy breeds when the eggs taste the same! I just fancied blue eggs and the hens are really pretty.

Now I need names for them - any suggestions?

Hope they settle in OK. I gave my parents a Sasso cockerel yesterday but the hens were bullying him so much that my mum could not watch

I can't possibly think of names without seeing what they look like! Have fun with the girls anyway.

tell OH that their eggs will have bigger yolks. well ours do, from our legbar. - so best for hollandaise sauce... zabalione, or just boiled egg with soldiers!

My OH is trying to name our hens, but I am firmly calling them 'the cream legbar' etc...
