Here in my hand is a copy of the selfsufficientish bilble

Postby Andy Hamilton » Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:53 pm

Got my copy of the Selfsufficientish bible this morning and I have been busy showing if off ever since. I am grinning ear to ear whilst writing this, a pretty amazing feeling.

So thanks again to all of you that come to the site, I don't think we would have had the book deal if it wasn't for you.

Yippee-doo! I've just googled it because I wanted to see if there was a photo of the front cover and there is, on Amazon France! I like the simple style of the cover - that is SO you two (and I don't mean it in a nasty way!)

Well done. I bet you are really chuffed!

Bloody hell look at the difference in price between UK and France!!!!!    France €41.36, and that's BEFORE you add on VAT, many other little sneaky add ons they don't tell you about before you click with your credit card (bastards), and then enormous postage. It'll cost about €60 here.

I see there is a link to Amazon from the main Ish site for the book.

Is that set up as an Amazon Partner link, whereby you get a percentage of sales if people order via that link? If not, then you should consider it.

Wassail,

Andy.

What really? That must be some kind of countrywide thing.

I did not take it as a nasty way, the rest of the book is similar in design I think they got the right designer for the project and more to the point he seemed to just get it!

Last time I looked eco-logic books didn't have it yet - I'd much rather buy it from them.... They've been really good to me; suggested alternatives when the book I wanted was out of print etc.

Ina - it is eco logic that we are trying to set up a cheaper deal with. I get well with the the fella that runs eco logic and he is more than happy to stock it, will get on a Hodder and see what is going on.
