[color=blue]We have chickens and a very broody bantam, so my hubby got some fertalised eggs for her to hatch, as we keep nicking the other eggs from her. After 3 days of sitting on the eggs, she left the eggs for an unknown period of time, enough for the eggs to cool. Would this now mean the eggs are spoiled? Grateful for any info please!

is she still laying? - if she's laying, she ain't broody...... - if the eggs have cooled, they've probably had it, unfortunately

a broody will get off the eggs once a day to eat drink and have the biggest chicken poos ever. then get back on. if she is sitting again, i would leave her,, see what happens. if she leaves again, just carefully feel how warm they are.. if the eggs have gone cold.. then thats it.
