Soap Nut Handwash

I'm going to make some handwash by boiling up a few soap nuts, but I was wondering what the best way to scent it is?
In particular I'd like to add in some almond oil and honey, but will these just separate out of the mixture once it's been standing in the bathroom for a while?

Almost certainly, although turning the bottle (not shaking it) should mix them in. Good old fashioned essential oils will be good, but use pure essential oils, not the perfume oils you get for lamps. Not the same thing at all and almost certainly no good for the skin.
I've found, when making any kind of soap nut product, that it smells slightly of vinegar. So anything that counteracts that will be fine.

Lavender water would be ideal for this.
Or Rose water.
No oils involved.

Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately I don't have rose or lavendar water (I used them all up as a facial toner

)
I will go with some orange essential oil and stick some cinnamon in to infuse.
