Is there anyone out there who has ever found a truffle?

Does anyone have any experience of truffle foraging?

I'm looking for things like, time of year, susceptible trees, areas of the country, just general info.

Greenhouses can be really useful for winter. I'd go for some salads, I think there are some good lettuces which can cope with the cold. Try www.seedsofitaly.com.
