Hype..... This is my third year and was the best yield i have got from containers (In tyres 4 stack), as like everyboy's else thinking i would get tubers all the way up the tyre's but no, only in the bottom stack which supprised me alot as i had earthed up as stated and it was looking good, growing ...

Yes i have blanched mine for five minutes let them cool down, then freeze, when you want to use some of the beans boil for 5 to 10 mins to your desire.

yep same here i did not think they could survive in this frost all over my psb, i think i may give up on this crop dam.

i have grown some gardiners delight tomatoes, thats planted outside and they have taken well,getting bushy by the day but no signs of flowers.
is it too early for them to flower ?

i was told by my mum that when a plant gets to a certain height the leafs get to tough for pests ie:- slugs / snails to eat, is this correct as the reason my mum gave me for this, is that slugs and snails like the tender leafs which makes sence to me.
