Re: Fantasy Name League
I had a rat named Sorrell! In fact I think I've probably used up all my favourite names on the huge amounts of rescued pets I've had over the years! We like Rowan or Willow because we already have an Ash! I like very short names which can't be abreviated. Off to Shambala festival next week - last ye...

Original Organics Wormery - suitable for indoor use
Please excuse the self-promotion (Mods - feel free to remove!) but I'm selling an Original Organics Wormery which cost £39.95 new. It has been used but thoroughly cleaned (with Eco Squirt!). You can find the listing on Ebay through my signature. 25% of the final amount paid will go straight to Marin...

Re: Curly coated Hungarian Mangalitza piglets for sale
Oh my goodness! How beautiful are they? Mum looks like a beauty too. I really would love to have a pig but we don't have the land here in Nottingham, although today I was thinking about renting some land to put Alpacas on it - I'm after the fleece from them. Never realised you could get fleece from ...

OK, I'm making an "executive decision" to say 25 October as that is the closest to my birthday too! And Andy can make it to sign books!
Please spread the word! There will be crash space here (indoors - I won't make anyone camp in late October!) and foooood.

Re: Free Loader!
We've got one and whilst its good for recharging things like Ipods, it doesn't add much charge to a mobile phone even when the Freeloader is fully charged I also think its a bit of a design flaw that it doesn't tell you when its fully charged from the sun, like it does when USB charged!

Clever girl! I only have experience of potty-training boys and they are slow to be dry at night. Sophie isn't 3 yet is she? She's a real quick learner

Re: self sufficient baby
Hahaha! Ash is 16 months now & has a lot of nappy-free time. He has a potty which I have shown him, sat him on it & made a weeing sound "psssh psssh psssh". But he has pooed on the floor twice and when I point to the potty he says "pssh pssh psssh"

Only just seen this honey. And very hard for me to comment as you know my situation. You are a very strong and brave woman who has brought a beautiful daughter into the world. No matter how many people tell you "you're lucky to have the one you've got" or "babies poo & throw up, y...

Re: Birth-to-potty or sized nappies?
I'm with Annpan on £300 being an extremely high price to be paying out for nappies! The only way I'd do that if it was for my first & I was intending to have about 5 children after that!!! I find pre-folds so easy to use and fold - there is stitching down the middle which makes it a doddle to fo...

Re: Farming Today
I just can't get my head around farmers being paid for fields laying fallow. Just got my fortnightly organic veg box and its going up by 50p, which is fair enough given all the fuel price hikes.

Two bassets!!! I grew up with a very bad basset hound named Max. My mum used to dispair of his naughty behaviour but he was a huge part of the family & lived to be 11 despite being epileptic. Beautiful silly dogs  Indeed! Oh, the stories we could tell...... I think you have to be a VER...
