The iPod touch
I have just recieved an iPod touch for Christmas. I was currently in the process of using less technology...... But the I-touch is amazing. I'm writing this on it. The Internet, sat nab, mp3 and video player and much more on something barely bigger that a credit card. I really did try hard not to li...

While you are talking about the book - where should one get it from? I've wanted to buy for a while but it is sold out everywhere. Even amazon (I dont like to buy through the market place).

Best online retailer to buy bulk seeds from?
I'm looking to buy vegetable seeds in bulk. I assumed online would be cheaper as I have no contacts around here.
I found seedfest.co.uk which I thought was good until I read reviews about them being a scam website.
Can anyone suggest anywhere I could buy vege seeds in bulk?
Many thanks

Re: Local price check - Web people wanted.
Business wise I don't think you'd do very well. You wont make affiliate sales as they wont purchse online. Idea wise - nice but a few downfalls. If I was a local producer and my prices were higher than michael's down the road i wouldnt want that advertised. Also you mention the quality of produce. U...

Re: Self Sufficientish Bible Ebook?
I think samples should always be free - otherwise whats the point of a sample? Look at Amazons 'look inside the book' function. I love this and it usually encourages me to spend the money. The table of contents, and a few clips of articles. Also I don't think you should ever force someone to buy som...

Self Sufficientish Bible Ebook?
Firstly appologies if this is posted in the wrong place or if the suggestion has ever been made. I was wondering whether you had considered creating the bible in ebook formatt. In terms of the enviroment it would obviously save trees. In terms of income once you've created it - its all profit. You c...

Re: Could you live in a motor home or travel trailer?
Lived in a motorhome. True independant living - especially round europe with all the aires.
I'd second the caravan though. Having to take a motorhome out to do simply things like shopping is a pain in the ass. Also if you are not touring get the biggest awning possible. Will triple your living space.

Re: Growing Garlic Indoors?
Thanks for the advice. I can't wait to grow garlic. I have tasted it out of other peoples gardens and it certainly has a nicer taste. I'm not sure trying it in a fridge would work though. Have to wait til the spring when I get a garden of sorts.

Growing Garlic Indoors?
I am currently in a flat with no garden. I was hoping to try and grow garlic indoors. I have read some places this is ok - as long as the pot is 1ft deep. Others say it must be grown outside. Any advice would be appreciated. If I can grow indoor what soil is best? What area of the flat (ie lots of l...

What great detail! I have always been the nerdy type to keep records. Nice to see what you are getting out of it.
Anyone else? Does every hen keep feel it is worth it?

Hello neighbour!

Cost of keeping hens?
I am curious from all you experts - how much does it cost you to keep your hens? Does it actually work out more expensive than buying eggs from the shop? Also am I correct in assuming a couple would want 3-4 hens to produce enough eggs for eating/baking etc? I understand home 'grown' are tasier and ...

Hi LammaIslander,
I've only just joined but wanted to say hello. I used to live in Lantau Island (my dad still does). Lamma was always considered the hippy island ;)
Good luck on your project. It sounds like great fun.
