Being in not too dissimilar conditions I can feed back re my experiments of growing in boggy ground - my soft fruit seems to be fine - rasps, blackcurrants, redcurrants, blueberries, strawbs - all good, rhubarb - yep, cranberries - not doing much but i think were slightly strangled by overgrown gras...

It's a no not really - it survives but you don't get thick enough roots to harvest - at least I certainly didn't - I got a totally tangled mess of thin roots - which is why I've 'released' it mwwhhhaaaahaaaaaPeggy Sue wrote:I've been wondering if horseradish will grow in pots... so is that a yes then?

Lovely to hear of a cat getting a happy new home :cheers: Ours was a rescue case too - she was about 3 when we got her and she spent the first week right up in the workings of the sofa bed / behind the couch/freezer/whatever she could squeeze behind and would shake when held - she's now settled in a...

leeks, onions, psb and sprouts sown. It's good for the soul this isn't it. :flower: jings crivens - and I thought I was doing well pulling out my sprout plants today - just finished eating them last week. And I'm still pulling leeks and PSB from last year, dug up the rest of my parsnips too - haven...
