I use a thai deo stone and find it great - I dont smell but its not clogging up pores either.

Arnica is amazing for bruising/swelling. I used it after giving birth and I was really mobile afterwards.

Could also be a thing about the dryness of the tampon and how it makes your body feel. On the very very rare occaions since i've had my cup that i've used a tampon, i've had worse period pains, and find that the tampon comes out almost dry, even though its at a point that the cup would be overflowi...

I totally understand the problem too. Particularly with soap. It does something to the wrapping causing it to split and look a bit battered doesnt it? I have had black soap in the past that has had this problem. Its just a shame there isnt a reasonable alternative for us small businesses to use.

There would be no reason why a cup would interfere with your flow in any way as just collects it rather than absorbs it. I suspect that your body was reacting to the contents of the tampon, maybe the gel or chlorine. Although its worn internally, that is the only similarity between cup and tampon.

My husband was in Germany with work last week and while in the supermarket noticed there was a special area set aside where you could remove any packaging you though excessive and leave it there.
