Re: get a mouse from under the kitchen units?
Well this is turning into 'mouse wars' here :cussing: the damn things still under there..the cats just havent seen it. I have the door open and a line of crisps there now, hoping to lure him out and then I can catch him (or club him to death with a tin of beans  ) The 'snap your head off' trap ...

Re: get a mouse from under the kitchen units?
 Never had a rabbit!!! Can just imagine the palaver trying to catch one!! It's normally The Assassin who brings me stuff home...and always dead. She eats a lot of it and my patio is littered with cadavers  Last week (and right up there with the duck at the top of unusual prey list)...

Re: My spuds are blighted
My sympathies go out to you...Ive lost all my toms and spuds to blight the last two years and it's soul-destroying :( It also seriously affected the household budget! This year I'm growing Sarpo Mira, a supposedly blight resistant variety - in a totally new patch of ground that was previously lawn s...

get a mouse from under the kitchen units?
Flaming stupid cats grrrrrrrrrrr Twice this week Ive been woken up by fat-lazy housecat climbing through the window and depositing live mice in me house grrrrrrrrr Now, aside from the annoyance and sheer amazement that fat-lazy house cat could actually catch anything, in my attempts to shoo the bl**...

Re: Neighbours grrrrrrrrrrr
lol Yugogypsy...there's a lot of them around. SPS - I'd get hold of the Environmental Health Officer . They have powers too - I once lived in a very damp house where the landlord did nothing to help despite numerous complaints. When I found a slug in the babies cot I went to the EHO who came round a...

Re: Bees anyone?
I've always fancied bee-keepin but have been put off by the initial set-up costs. Plus, its hard enough to find someone who'll look after the lizard if i go away....never mind a swarm of bees  How much Honey could one hive produce? What kind of maintenance would they require once the hive was u...
