Chilli made with turkey mince. peppers from the freezer, allotment onions and chillies harvested from greenhouse last weekend. baked beans and not kidney beans (the devils food) with a big jacket spud, (ours again).

A friend of mine was friends with an archeologist working on a dig in New Mexico. One of the artifacts found there was a large sealed clay pot, with dried beans inside, roughly 1500 years old. As a test, they took a few beans and tried to grow them, and took a few more (not many) and cooked them up...

What I like...
Sweet peas, never see them in shops....
Also Delphinium Pacific Giant, esp blue/ purple never see them being sold. they look fab in a big vase.

Anyone do anything with the extra hour we had today? Ok maybe not extra but like to think of positives..
Used to spend it in bed, but spend today baking and filling up the freezer.

Friend of ours has told us a farmer has informed him ..... last year farmers got £15 a ton this year £200.

Gas companies who think I'm a liar. Units used for last 2 months.... used 3 units last month and 2 the month before that.. skips for wood. Have a friend who works for the council, let's me know of any wood dumped so it does not go to the tip. We get free heat and i pass on wine and jam as a thanks.

Look up recepie for a blue lagoon...
1 part vodka
1 part blue curaco
half part lime cord.
fill up glass with lemonade or sprite and ice...
big pub chain I know sells this in jugs, offers one with absynth and one with vodka .
Cant remember the name when spirit is changed but goes down well.
