On our allotment is an old freezer (chest) chock-full of water. Obviously the water is still, but there are boatman etc in it.

We want to get rid of it because it is fugly - do you think that we could use the water on the allotment?

yupper - it was the huge peat-free (i think purple) bag.

Their non-peat-free is great.

I obviously would have preferred peat-free but hey... it was crap!

Never mind... next year we will hopefully have a good supply of our own.

Tried an electric cigarette - twas merely "ok".

As long as the "weed" has not gone to seed (post-flower) it is fine to compost.
We compost anything that is green and in the wrong place.
Also - no plant can survive constantly having its head cut off to ground level - tedious? yes - but effective in the long term.
