Black rose hip, beech (I think), don't know thw pink berry, initially thought rowan but they are in bunches and the leaves are wrong. Then elderberry, last mahonia.

All edible except the pink one which I would say avoid if you don't know what it is. Google these for more info.

I've never tried a bullace, but they are simply a wild plum and possibly the same ones we get in abundance here in different colours so should taste like a plum if soft and ripe. If they are deliberately planted on a border l would say they are probably damsons. You wouldn't want to eat them raw but...

I do. I drop the quarters into sterilised jars and pour over hot sugar syrup, cover and waterbath for half an hour. They're lovely.

The first one looks like a cotoneaster of some kind (try google images) if so, good for birds but not sure about humans, and the second either bullace or damson, hard to tell from a photo for me. Someone will know.

Thanks for all that info, I've been meaning to look up this very same subject. Presumably you can do any juice the same way? I will probably use large screw jars with new lids as this is what I have.

And a water bath as I do have a pan deep enough and a gas ring outside to fit it on.
