Sorry but taxing the bin bags people put out won't work. Just think of the fly tipping problem that it would create. Hi Andy and Shirlz, I use T***o value stuff off the shelf, not in the fridge and have had no problems. The ingredients say that there is only apple juice in there... I think is all they generally do with apple juice is pasteurise to preserve? So for one (1 gallon) demi john I use - 4.5 litres of T**...

I add a jar of honey per gallon to up the ABV to about 7.5%.
Works well to allow you to get to grips with brewing cider....
