I'm amazed that this thread is somehow at the top of the forum after all this time - a couple of years now. Cost of living got us in the end; whereas I had hoped before we could live on less, it became the case that we could barely live on what we had for a short while. I've got nothing to whinge ab...

It's very quiet. I had tried to log in a bit over the last few years and hadn't been able to find the site - so I assumed it had gone.

It's good to see it back up, but needs some life injecting in to it for sure.

Weeds are a prominent feature of my spaces... I think the worst thing is that I'm actually quite fond of a couple of types as long as all the crops/plants are getting along OK

There's time! I'm turning over as much as I can at the moment and letting the frosts do the job for me - the weeds have got a bit out of hand in some sections and I need to rotate the brassicas badly.

Do you lot watch the weather radars in your respective countries? Sometimes you can get a better picture of the local patterns. They're not infallible but the UK has one of the best networks in the world.
