Gidday Garlic can grow their roots so fast sometimes they will jump out of the ground. I'm not kidding either, they can push themselve right up out of the ground but the roots will not be firm enough to hold them so they topple over. I plant mine on ANZAC day, 25th. April, but the old idea was plant...

I wouldn't force feed though as horses are smart than we are and might know when they have had enough. As for external use of comfrey, I just m...

Gidday Yeah, I have been told that the price of beer is going up, could be as much as 30% because of the cost of grain for the malt. Bugger Eh! But Nev, it sounds like your drought is no joke, even the vineyards sound stuffed. Your entire agriculture industry is in real deep crap. Has either of your...

Gidday If I remember right, the reason all the talk about banning comfrey, is that some people heard how good it was and then they learned that the roots are even more concentrated so they were eating large quantities of comfrey root and like anything they over dosed and damaged their livers. You ca...

Well I have cured all sorts of things with comfrey. Usually just boil in as little water as I can till really soft then when just cool enough slap it on and hold in place with a bandage soaked in the juices.

These days they want to ban anything that is good for you because some people are stupid enough to try to overdose on anything.

Our flightless birds don't stand much of a chance against things like that, but they still don't attack people so the pig is the most f...

Andrea, we do not have any native land mamal, just marine mamals. That is why so many of our native birds are flightless. Our bush, or as you say woods, are safe as to sleep any night but stupid man has been trying to bring in all sorts.
