Interesting article. Thanks. As it says, they strike me as being ideal for people looking for somewhere cheap to live. Buying some land and living on it.

Hello everybody. First post so here goes. I've been toying with the idea of buying a piece of land somewhere, putting a yurt on it and living there in as self-sufficient way as possible for a while now but I'm a bit unsure how viable this is in the UK especially if you don't have a big pot of money....
