I shall have to conclude that I am smellier than everyone else. I was given a version of eco-balls to try (I think it was made by lakeland, and there was only the one), but found after a few washes that my t-shirts were still a bit, er, whiffy under the arms  . Not sure if this was because I o...

Woah! you turn your back for five minutes, and discover your introduction has turned into a heated debate... :happy7: You guys obviously think a lot harder than I do. I think as some of you have said, it's a question of balance. I've pondered the whole population issue in the past. The conclusion I ...

milk bottles

May I seek some opinions on my latest dilemma on my journey to becoming self-sufficientish? Which do you think is more important: To get organic milk or to get milk in glass bottle which are returnable to be re-used? Of course ideally I would get organic milk in glass returnable bottles, but the onl...

Hello!

Hi all, discovered this site a few weeks back, and couldn't resist joining the discussions! I'm a SAHM with two children - a nearly 3 yr old girl, and a 6 mth old boy. Like many folk I've started on the sustainable living route since having kids. Started with cloth nappies, and now 3 years on have d...
