Lying down.
The manure turned up with no notice and needed to be cleared off the carriageway ASAP.
Thirty barrow loads in the two hours before it got dark, and a hundred metres down the hill onto a pile that really wasn't ready.

scratching my head mostly
think I'll get some straw tomorrow; compost half of it with some comfrey for the spring, and shove some down on the celeriac if its warm

also I've go the day off, so maybe risk some parsnip wine :drunken:

I stuck down some Rye a few weeks ago and its done rubbish; hardly any came up. Just chopped down the Phacelia and will dig in tomorrow. Might try and get tares on top of that before winter.
