I know how you feel fee.fairy...this cough, cold, sore throaty, sniffy thing that's doing the rounds is doing me in. I feel so tired all the time. What a whimp I am! Let's hope it clears up soon and we are bouncing back to health. This is a favourite silly poem by Spike Milligan... Bungalooielee sai...

Did you put camden (sp?) tabs in to clear it? I don't think it matters as long as it tastes good and has the desired effect! :drunken:

My ginger and lemon wine is still bubblin' away nicely. Cloudy as can be, but then I did pound the ginger roots with my massive pestle and mortar to get all that gingery flavour out!

It smells lovely tho'!

It's about time the big chains stopped giving out carriers willy nilly. Most shop staff always give you a funny look when you say no I have my own thanks. One thing I have noticed since carrying my own bags is....I have a big space under my sink where the bags used to be chucked...to store my jam ja...

I've never been sacked. How dull am I? I've always left before I became badly behaved, nearly always because of bad management etc, I've let them know and then I go!

Luckily, I have been self employed for a while and only have myself to put up with. I don't think I could work for anyone again.

Some properties where I live get flooded everytime the river overflows int the town. I doubt if the insurers want to cover them any more!

Hill properties will probably be very desirable.

I've made some this year.

They are sitting in preserving jars in a dark cupboard and I haven't tried them yet. I would guess at a year. Not that ours will last that long!
