Re: Staking POTATOES

I don't know about this technique as I haven't tried growing potatoes. But I bookmarked the site as it seemed really good and it's a garden related page for Toronto. You don't see many of them.

Thanks, Durgan. :flower:

Re: Very useful left overs web site

It doesn't seem to like the veg that I've got in the fridge - french beans, beetroot and sweetcorn. I've got no idea either!  There's always the old standby: Invent a salad! On another note, I went to this site and it looks promising, I am going to give it a go and maybe pass a link on t...

All I can say is  . Can these things be recycled or sent somewhere to be repurposed? That seems so wasteful.

Re: If your house was on fire...

It just seemed right to do so. Anyway, I would take my I Pod, My box of CDs, and my purse----only assuming Minnie is o.k....

Alice,

You sound like you are making tremendous progress. I really admire how you are keeping your spirits up. I also love your updates. I am quite envious.

Keep at it, girl.

Ingrates. I don't know where you found the patience, Graye. I would have made it clear that I was unhappy with their behaviour and reminded them that when you visit, at least a modicum of gratitude is customary.

Jeesh, some people!

Re: I'm glad I make my own bread.

You know after reading that article I was left feeling bad at the presumption of individual incompetance. That is, afterall, why they must sneak what is good for us, into our food. :( Getting treated like some one who is incapable of taking information and using it to make the choices that would ben...
