I came accross loads of lime trees in this park in Warrington the other day (can't remember the name of it) but all the blossoms were dry and shrivvelled, or just didn't look that appealling...does this mean the trees could be diseased, or is there another reason for it? I don't know what this dry spell is that everyone keeps talking about....North-West England has had plenty of (too much in my opinion!) rain!
I've seen tonnes of blackberry bushes already with lots of little green blackberries on :icon_smile:

I work in the centre of Manchester, going round the shops in my lunch break is bad enough during the week, let alone going round them at weekends! I don't mind the shops, I just hate people...

I like to do most of my clothes shopping online or looking through catalogues

I made hampers for my family last year...gingerbread is good because it keeps quite well so you can make it a week or so in advance.

I ended up buying nice baskets for my parents and in-laws' hampers last year, I just used cardboard boxes covered in wrapping paper for everyone else.
