don't you have cats? mice in the house are horrid so i do sympathise. When we first lived in greece on one of the islands there were very few cats, the locals had killed them off using poison for the vermin. i remember people resorted to tethering cats to deter mice and rats and to keep the cats saf...

hi pete and anna, no you certainly didn't! is it always like waiting for an overdue baby??!! yes the presenter did overdue hyping up the excitement for the viewers but it was informative. do you take your burner setup around the country to places that have wood piles or do you coppice your own?

not in an english climate but we have some seedless grapes, small green ones, that i put in our new made solar dryer. they didn't come out well though, the skins were very thick and tough and dominated all. not succulent. perhaps we overdid them.

welcome to the site. the site owners have books out, 'Grow you own food for free' which comes highly recommended by one and all and will cover the growing ideas part of your book. there's a similar one on booze. What kind of place are you thinking of building and are you thinking of keeping livestock?
