Maths problem

I wonder if anyone mathematically minded might be able to help me with a problem. I want to know if it is financially viable to churn my own butter. I don't want to make my own butter if it works out more expensive than buying it. So here are the figures: 150g of organic butter costs £1.50 300ml org...

Re: Registering and Monitoring home educated children propos

I am not sure there is a problem if parents want to teach their children that the world is 600 years old etc. If they believe it is true then of course they will teach it. When the children are older they will question and find out for themselves if they really believe it is true or not. As long as ...

Re: How old are you and how should you feel ???

Like many of the 20 somethings on here I am tired and feel OLD!
I also feel old mentally as well as physically. I am not into many of the things my friends are, no interest in clubbing or shopping, more interested in baking and growing.

Re: Letting go

I have had A LOT of trouble doing this when a very old friend upset me, and hasn't spoken to me since my wedding. I have found it extremely difficult to let go of negative feeliings and forgive her for how she has made me feel. For me there was an injustice, and I find that hard to cope with. A few ...

I am thinking about moving the fruit bushes on my allotment, they are small, but I don't want to kill them from the shock, any thoughts on this? Can I do it?

Re: Natural Health and Beauty Tips

I use a deodorising crystal for my underarms and it works really well on day to day sweat (not on stress sweat though). Not sure where you can buy them, I got mine from an eco fair in london a couple of years ago.

Re: Does anyone share my parenting philosophy?

Thanks every one for your replies. Juzamum, sounds like we share similar parenting philosophys. We have been trying to do a bedtime routine, and bed time seems to be getting easier, but he is waking at about 4.00 and wanting to play which is a pain because I am still half asleep. When he eventually ...

Re: How to discipline daughter?

As a secondary school teacher I can say she shoundsw like a normal teenager, so it is probably just a phase. She might be acting like she doesn't care when you make her stay in or take away her phone, but I bet she does really, she is just saying that she doesn'yt care to annoy you further. Stick to...

Re: Moby carrier

Oh my gosh, I just asked practically this same question over at naturalmamas.co.uk

They said no, you can't use your Moby to carry baby on your back because it is too stretchy and therefore dangerous. They said use a woven wrap, a mai tai or a structured carrier.

Re: Does anyone share my parenting philosophy?

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Orren is sleeping in a little cot right next to our bed, we looked into getting a co-sleeper cot but they were too expensive and there was nothing suitable on the second hand market. Last night we just couldn't get him to sleep before we went to bed so ended up jus...
