Wow, looks fantastic - I think I managed to count 15 raised beds, really like the wee mini greenhouse / cloche /cold frame you've got on one of them!
I'm into year 4 of my garden this year so hoping it really starts to take off too.

I have heard that it should meet the two drip test - squeeze it and only two drops of water. Lots of cardboard is good. I've yet to experiment with worms but have been trying to swot up - so far i've got as far as building a wormery - an insulated wooden box basically :lol: but it's not yet made it ...

congrats re new toy :cheers: My old work offers that scheme - its brill, loads of folk took advantage of the offer - and all the bikes were bought throught the local independant bike shop too so helped spread the dosh locally

our house is the opposite way round to you - we've got bedrooms downstairs off a v large hallway, upstairs is totally openplan and unheated - downstairs is underfloor (oil, yeuch). we have a fairly large open spiral staircase and thought the heat would rise - it doesn't, the cold air from upstairs i...
