Re: what did you do in the vegpatch/allotment
Cleared away old row markers and covers off the last of the winter greens. Tidied the chldren's toys away that had been blown about in the last lot of wind.... kicked the weeds about a bit and then decided to go home, it's too bloody cold!  especially when you've got a not quite 3 year ol...

Re: Lost crafts by Una McGovern
I have John Seymours book, found at a table top sale at the girls school. It cost me £2, and is regularly pawed over by the Eldest wanting to know if we can do some of the things in it! It's a fantastic resource, even if it just wets the appetite to get out there and do something. Lorna x

Raised Beds Questions
Any advice most welcome this is all for me, and for once the old boys down the allotment can't comment on as it's something none of them do! I am looking to put a raised bed system into action down my allotment this year, as due to health problems, I find the rather more physical aspect of the allo...

Re: Hearth cooking! It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Superb! Okay so if I was to try this inside my woodstove, I would be putting them in the ash pan underneath the fire right? :dontknow: I've had the kettle on the top, and often warm the wee one's drinks on it, but have never actually cooked inside of it. If hubby finally makes a decision on who he w...

Printer Cartridges for Epson printer
Does any of you lovely folks out there have an Epson D78, DX4000, DX5000, DX6000?
Mine went capoot!
and I have 8 generic cartridges that need a new home, it's seems a shame to waste them.
4 yellow
3 magenta
1 cyan
they don't weigh much so I'd be happy to post them
Cheers

Potty Training.......again?
My not quite 3 year old, has gone back to wearing nappies after quite literally months of being dry during the day, and most nights as well. Fair enough this happened when she was sick ( I always find my two lose their continence a little when there are about to come down with something), and whilst...

Re: Bought a mooncup!!
I've never owned one, as I have problems with interrupted flow if I wear any protection that is inserted. But a couple of my friends have and they are constantly bowled over by how great they are. I wish I could try one, but it would be a bit of an investment to then not use it I think, and besides ...

I've been listening to the Archers since I was a teen, so I guess I never was cool
Then again I've never really cared either way so I think that makes it alright
