Re: Whats your unusual lunch?

This is my relatively unusual salad.

Chop raw batons of carrot and broccoli and a small amount of red chilli.
Drizzle with a dressing made of soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and sesame seeds. It is delicious and healthy!

Re: help we have a pig!!

I too love pigs, I find that out of all livestock they are so easy to get attached to, as they are smart and have interesting characters. I once had two pigs who played football (with their snouts of course) with eachother. Try not to get too attached yourself (or the puppy) if he's destined for foo...

Re: Opinions on vets

As with all professions, there are great vets and some who are not so good, I've known people have experiences where they feel maybe the vet is more interested than making money than the animal's welfare. Though this hasn't happened to me personally. Anyway I have a fabulous vet, who specialises in ...

I should imagine NZ is a fabulous place to forage, it seems so pure and unpolluted that I bet there is loads to collect out there in the wilderness.

Re: Supermarket Expansion

I suppose it is fair to say that at some point we all use supermarkets, even those of us who hate them. Their existence is just necessary in today's society I guess. But the fact that they have to dominate everything, and in doing so shut down local stores and pretend to be ethically sound is annoyi...

Parent's who think it's cool to take their offspring into trendy pubs. The kids don't enjoy it - if they're really that cool a parent they'd be over the park on the swings!

Gosh, I saw this on Human Planet or the programme with Bruce Parry. They were in the depths of the Brazilian rainforest, it was unvelievable.

Re: So there go our woods and forests

I'm really not massively read upon policies and politics, but I know what I see, and I agree none of the parties give so much as a passing thought to the people, it's all about their own greed and gain, and unfortunately there is nothing we can do to stop it. (On an unrelated note Tony Blair as Peac...
