Giggled quite a bit at the innuendo responses. But quite nervous about reading the next topic.... "Why is my fudge so hard"

The ragged edge of silence(John Francis). An autobiography , essentially a book about listening. Self help and personal growth.

Re: Rabbit Babies death
I know NOTHING about rabbits, I have never kept them, but I did read that a wild rabbit buries her young (to keep them safe) whilst she is away from the nest. Apparently when she comes back to the nest she expresses very quickly ( minutes) and then covers them again. In the first post there is menti...

What pretty birds. I assume they have Royal ( hat lover) names. Do they really lay those dark brown eggs?

Re: Image
Good points made by everyone. I would only add, use your experience. How many jobs have you turned up for - quoted and then not got the job? If the answer is "not many" then continue as you are. If however, you believe that changing your appearance would improve your "conversion"...

Is this realistic ?
Hi I hope you can help/ advise me where to go for help. I do not like putting my dog into kennels nor my cats into a cattery. I live a a beautiful rural location and would not be anxious about having strangers in my house whilst I am away. Is it realistic to make this Free accommodation offer ? As m...

I suspect that I would have told OH but he would either have not been listening or did not know what I was talking about and was not interested enough to ask However. About a year later w...

Re: What are you reading?
I thought I'd restart this thread. I got for Christmas some great presents but as I have a kindle I only got two paper books. The ragged edge of silence by John Francis and The book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill. I have only started the ragged edge of silence but so far so good. What books did you get?
