Have an an allotment not a site for sheds

It gives me something to do besides thinking of housework, decorating and what to do. Grown up with gardeners from birth so it's just one of those things.

I don't know wether there is a collective noun for sheds as I have , er, several...... an embarassement of sheds perhaps?

Pete
No, I have 7 sheds I think a satisfaction of sheds.
P.S. soon to be 8, just as soon as the weather behaves.
I mentioned this thread to a friend who gleefully told me that the collective noun for sheds is a "shanty town" or possibly a "getto"

possibly an embarassment of Pete's

In Cornwall I had two 6' x 2' rabbit sheds, three summerhouses, one log shed, one bike shed and one large chicken shed. One of my friends called my place Shed City.

Here I have a 5' x 4' rabbit shed, duck house, three small chicken sheds, three large chicken sheds one of which is built into the side of my wooden barn - otherwise known as a glorified shed.

I love sheds and have loads of photos of homemade sheds which I've taken while driving around Brittany in particular.

We have two allotments (just got the second one yesterday) because we are of no fixed abode and it is our only chance to have a garden.

The new allotment is going to house my Aquaponics system and next year bees maybe.

It is on my cycle route to work so I will be able to visit twice a day unlike our other allotment that we can only get to weekly

Why do I feel the urge to grow veg? I think it is mainly so I will have the skills and knowledge to support ourselves in anything happened to the "normal" food chain
