Another forum I am on was started by Naomi Lever. She is currently trying to raise 5k to start a permaculture project. She has to leave her cottage that she rents and is going off grid into a little caravan with her daughter and all her animals. Someone is letting her have a very small piece of land. She writes a very good blog and is an inspirational lady. An interesting way of raising money.
Coincidentally someone suggested the very same method to me last night as my uni course fees are horrendous, maybe something to look into
