regions Bank scam

Post: # 1331Post Andy Hamilton »

Another one similar to the suntrust scam and all the others I have mentioned in other threads on this forum. If you get an email from them ignore it, if you think it is legitamely from them then phone up your bank and find out.

I almost got caught out by one the other day, the pay pal one. As it is an on-line account I thought it stood to reason that I would be updated by email. Then I remembered the others and also realised that it was sent to the wrong email address. Easy to have a moment of dumbness.

I can see why they send out so many, though they must catch a few people out.

Do you have a mail filter? I am experimenting with encoding my email address in Java when it appears on the website difficult to tell if it is making any difference.
